Margarita Gapparova was born in Almaty, Kazakhstan. She graduated from Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory. She is currently a cellist of the Symphony Orchestra Of India in Mumbai and a cello teacher at the NCPA Music School, Mumbai.
