Workshop with BMC Art Teachers from CHIP, Wishing Well Foundation
This art teacher’s training workshop introduced teachers from BMC schools to the world of contemporary art through the exhibition, The Journey is the Destination. The exhibition explored the journey of eight contemporary artists juxtaposing an earlier work with a more recent work. The teachers were taken through the career paths of these artists tracing the various stages in their development as artists.
The workshop ended with a critical analysis of teaching methodologies and group discussions on how to help their students think out-of-the-box using the ideas they had received from the workshop.
