Noted photographer Ram Rahman judged a street photography contest open to youngsters between the ages of 9 and 18 years. 160 entries of exceptional talent and quality were received from all over India. 

Winners were as follows:

1st Prize: Dhairya Suresh Mehta - 18 years (from Bhuj) 
2nd Prize: Dhrishaan Mehta - 10 years (Cathedral & John Connon School, Mumbai) 
3rd Prize: Shaurya Prakash - 12 years (Cathedral & John Connon School, Mumbai)

Special Mention 1: Carl Soonawalla - 17 years ( Cathedral & John Connon School, Mumbai) 
Special Mention 2: Mangesh Mahajan - 17 years (T.P. Bhatia Junior College of Science) 
Special Mention 3 - Mihika Khadloya - 9 years (N.L. Dalmia School, Mumbai)

Ram Rahman

Delhi-based Ram Rahman is a jack-of-all-trades. He is a noted contemporary Indian photographer, artist, designer, curator and activist. He is one of the founding members of the Safdar Hashmi Memorial Trust (SAHMAT) in New Delhi, a leader in the resistance to communal and sectarian forces in India through its public cultural action. He has exhibited his photographs all over India and the world. He is one of the leading photographers in Project 365, a public photo art project that creates and preserves photographic visuals of the fast changing ancient culture and lifestyle of the tri-sangam territory of ancient Tamilakam.
