Celebrated as painter, poet, art historian and teacher, Gulammohammed Sheikh's passion for printmaking is lesser known. This two-part retrospective looks at his printmaking practice from the 1950s to the present. Part one, 'Hand Prints' is conceived as an archive, exploring Sheikh’s etchings, lithographs, monoprints, and his forays into magazines including Pragati, Kshitij and Vrischik. The second, 'Mind Prints' features Sheikh's experiments with new media and digital prints from the 2000s.
