Workshop with APV school students from Uttarakhand
This workshop sought to explore the relationship that has developed between the arts and how each can enrich the other -in this case poetry and the visual arts. Following a curated walkthrough the exhibition ‘Kanu’s Gandhi’, which brings alive the last 10 years of the Mahatma’s life, students had to pick up on any one interesting element from the photographs they had seen- either a narrative element, an object that caught their attention or any relationship of Gandhiji that struck them - and create a poem around it.
